Just some of the things which you'll find at the market

The new Comber Farmers' Market is a collaboration between St. Mary's Church Comber, and Mr. Phil Buckley. Starting on the 19th June 2008, it is held every Thursday in the Church car park, just off the Square. 

Comber was well known until relatively recently for its weekly market, which was held for two centuries, but early in the 20th Century it died out with the advent of shops, Newtownards's expansion and the availability of transport. 

With the growth of interest in good, wholesome, cooking, and locally sourced ingredients the Farmers' Market is a great way to improve your kitchen, and reduce your carbon footprint, whilst supporting local farmers.

So come along: there are dozens of interesting stalls, from vegetables to fish. You'll help the environment, you'll help Comber, and you'll help to restore and maintain St. Mary's, which for 800 years has been at the centre of the town.
